Can’t Get a Job? Blame The “ATS.”

The Problem:

As technology becomes more advanced, businesses have chosen to automate the hiring process in order to try to save themselves time and money. The way many companies hire people today is based off a computer program called “ATS.” The Applicant Tracking System is advanced software that filters out candidates through certain algorithms and trashed by the computer if it doesn’t detect the correct keywords and experience on your resume. This sounds more like picking Powerball numbers, does it not?

The Frustration for Candidates:

It is frustrating to know that you would be lucky to have a real person look at your resume. While companies believe that the ATS software helps save them time, money, and resources, they are sadly mistaken. There are so many talented people out there who can’t get a job because they don’t know how to navigate the barriers of the job market. The job hunt has changed so much in the last 5-10 years. Everyone is struggling to get by, and people can’t get the opportunity to advance their careers and make more money because of things like the ATS.

My Solution:

The truth is that many of us do not enjoy crafting resumes. It is mundane, it takes a lot of time, and it’s challenging to figure out how to start one. Because of this, resume writing companies have become an ideal option. However, most companies will charge you an arm and a leg to make or modify one. On average, other resume writing companies will charge you $250-450, which is impossible and unfair. That’s why I have made resumes affordable for everyone!

If you would like to get rid of the anxiety and stress of building your resume and/or cover letter, I would love to work for you.
